The Court of Arbitration for Sport (CAS) has now provided the full reasoned decision in the case of Simona Halep, the outcome of which was announced on 5 March 2024.
The CAS panel partially upheld the player’s appeal, reducing Halep’s period of ineligibility for an Anti-Doping Rule Violation from four years to nine months.
