The International Tennis Integrity Agency (ITIA) today confirms that five individuals have been provisionally suspended, pending the full consideration of Tennis Anti-Corruption Program (TACP) charges.

Suspensions have been issued to two tennis players, Alana Tuayeva (Russia) and Nikol Palecek (Serbia), and three national level tennis officials, Marko Ristic (Serbia), Zsolt Bagosi and Tamas Tarnai (Hungary). All provisional suspensions were issued under section F.3.b.i.4 (likelihood of a Major Offense) of the TACP.

F.3.b.i.4 reads: ‘There is a likelihood that the Covered Person has committed a Corruption Offense which is above Category C2 of the Sanctioning Guidelines and in the absence of a Provisional Suspension, the integrity of tennis would be undermined and the harm resulting from the absence of a Provisional Suspension outweighs the Hardship of the Provisional Suspension on the Covered Person.’

None of the five individuals elected to appeal their provisional suspensions to an independent Anti-Corruption Hearing Officer.

26-year-old Tuayeva, who reached a career-high world singles ranking of 1282 in September 2025, has been provisionally suspended since 19 December 2025.

22-year-old Palecek, who reached a career-high world singles ranking of 1248 in June 2021, has been provisionally suspended since 24 December 2025.

Ristic’s provisional suspension began on 17 December 2025, while Bagosi and Tarnai have been provisionally suspended since 24 December 2025.

During their provisional suspensions, the individuals are prohibited from officiating at/playing in, coaching at, or attending any tennis event authorised or sanctioned by the members of the ITIA (ATP, ITF, WTA, Tennis Australia, Fédération Française de Tennis, Wimbledon and USTA) or any national association.

The ITIA is an independent body established by its tennis funders to promote, encourage, enhance, and safeguard the integrity of professional tennis events worldwide.
