The International Tennis Integrity Agency (ITIA) today confirms that Jossting Cruz and Jasel Beltre, tennis players from the Dominican Republic, have been provisionally suspended, pending the full consideration of charges under the Tennis Anti-Corruption Program (TACP).
19-year-old Cruz, who reached a career-high ITF singles ranking of 2318 in May 2025, and 24-year-old Beltre, unranked, have been provisionally suspended under section F.3.b.i.4 of the TACP, which reads:
‘There is a likelihood that the Covered Person has committed a Major Offense and in the absence of a Provisional Suspension, the integrity of tennis would be undermined and the harm resulting from the absence of a Provisional Suspension outweighs the Hardship of the Provisional Suspension on the Covered Person.’
Cruz and Beltre have been provisionally suspended since 30 May 2025. Both players elected not to appeal their provisional suspensions.
While provisionally suspended, Cruz and Beltre are prohibited from playing in, coaching at, or attending any tennis event authorised or sanctioned by the members of the ITIA (ATP, ITF, WTA, Tennis Australia, Fédération Française de Tennis, Wimbledon and USTA) or any national association.
The ITIA is an independent body established by its tennis members to promote, encourage, enhance, and safeguard the integrity of their professional tennis events.
