The International Tennis Integrity Agency (ITIA) today confirms that Jana Fett, a 29-year-old tennis player from Croatia, has been provisionally suspended under the Tennis Anti-Doping Programme (TADP).
The ITIA sent the player a pre-charge notice of an Anti-Doping Rule Violation on 22 December 2025 under Article 2.1 of the TADP (presence of a Prohibited Substance in a Player’s Sample) and/or Article 2.2 (Use of a Prohibited Substance without a valid Therapeutic Use Exemption (TUE)).
Fett, who reached a career-high world singles ranking of 97 in October 2017, provided an in-competition sample while competing in the 2025 Billie Jean King Cup play-offs in Varadzin, Croatia, on 16 November 2025.
The sample was split into A and B samples and the subsequent analysis found that the A sample contained three prohibited substances, SARM Ostarine (S-22), a metabolite of LGD-4033, and metabolites of GW501516. The B sample was analysed on Wednesday 14 January, and confirmed the findings of the A sample.
The substances are prohibited under the TADP in the categories of Other Anabolic Agents (Section S1.2) and Metabolic Modulators (Section S4.4) of the 2025 Prohibited List.
As two of the substances are non-Specified substances, a mandatory provisional suspension is required. In Fett’s case this has been in effect from 22 December 2025.
Players have the right to appeal the imposition of their provisional suspension before an independent tribunal chair. To date, Fett has not appealed.
While provisionally suspended, Fett is prohibited from playing in, coaching at, or attending any tennis event authorised or sanctioned by the members of the ITIA (ATP, ITF, WTA, Tennis Australia, Fédération Française de Tennis, Wimbledon and USTA) or any national association.
The ITIA is an independent body established by its tennis members to promote, encourage, enhance, and safeguard the integrity of their professional tennis events.
